We are a couple – Hazel Nairn and Davi Leon – living in Wicklow, dedicating ourselves to regenerating our landscape through farming.
In 2016 we decided that we wanted to bring our life closer to Nature, to dedicate our time to learn how to live in balance with it and to learn to make a living out of this commitment. So we went working in permaculture, organic cultivation, reforestation, and agroforestry.

We are very lucky to have access to land and to have a beautiful group of people very connected to all of those topics around us from which we have learnt much and have lots of help.
We don’t hold an organic certification, but everything here is free from chemicals – pesticides, fertilizers and fungicides. We apply a NO DIG policy to all our Market Garden beds, which means that we don’t till the soil, we add compost on top of the beds and make sure weeds never take over. Turning soil over releases huge amounts of carbon into the atmosphere and over-time soil loses its fertility. We don’t want that to happen, we want to trap as much carbon as possible in the soil, avoid soil erosion and disturb the soil biology as little as possible (the real farmers).
The way consumption has evolved is damaging our planet, resources need to be used in a conscious manner. To produce more than we consume. We want to contribute to enrich our environment and community for the future. To damage the earth is to damage ourselves. There is a shift happening in culture towards a more positive relationship to our planet, and we want to be part of that change.
